Obituary

On February 3rd, 2022, the Lord called Karen Ann Lassley to His glorious kingdom to join the loves of her life, Walter (husband), Randy (son), and Louie (great grandchild). She leaves behind her precious, daughter Kim. Karen entered this world on December 29, 1945 in Bristow, Oklahoma and was the second child of Ruby and Lester Evans (both deceased). Karen leaves behind siblings, Patsy (John) Blevins, Jeannie (Reid) Smith, Charles Evans and Jimmy (Ruth) Evans, all of Wichita, KS. Family was the foundation of Karen’s life and nothing brought her more joy than opportunities to spend time with them. She is survived by daughter in-law (Stephanie Lassley), 3 grandchildren, Cody (Sarah) Lassley, Megan (Matt) Fairchild, Casey (Carly) Lassley, 10 great grandchildren, Lizzy, Livi, Ross, Rally and Clayton Lassley, Rhett and Emery Fairchild, and Noah, Ellie, and Madi Lassley, and many nephews and nieces who she dearly loved. Karen’s gentle and kind soul will be forever etched on those she met and loved. Karen’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, February 10th at 11:00 AM at GracePoint Church located at 9035 W. Central Wichita, KS with her and Walt’s inurnment at Maize Cemetery located at 13332 W. 53rd Street North Maize, KS. A donation to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in her memory would bless her heart.
