Ronald J. Zimmerman, age 78, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. He was born to Jake and Susie Zimmerman on May 6, 1944. He was one of three sons.

Ronald married the love of his life Janet Marvin on June 12, 1965, together they shared 58 years. Ronald worked at Globe Engineering where he retired after 30 years.

Ronald loved working with his hands, there wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He was also involved in the PT Cruiser Club for many years.

Ronald was a kind, loving, and generous man. He loved his grandkids and spending time with them. He was a family man that put his family first. He was the glue that kept everyone together.

He was preceded was death by his parents.

Survivors include wife Janet Zimmerman; three children Eric (Crystal) Zimmerman, Angie Zimmerman, Amy (Robert) Wood; seven grandchildren Megan, Courtney, Logan, Jessalyn, Weston, Katelyn, and Landon; two great-grandchildren Mason, and Emma; two brothers Bob and Rick Zimmerman and many other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 12pm-1pm, a Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209 with a graveside service to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
