Born on March 21, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas and passed away on February 6, 2022 in Walker, Louisiana

A ceremony celebrating the life of Rev. Richie L. Driver was held in February at First United Pentecostal Church in Denham Springs Louisiana.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Richie was a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International for over 40 years.  He began his education with Friends University in Wichita Kansas and completed his master’s degree at Southeastern University.  Richie retired as an educator with Livingston School System after 35 Years.  His passion was church life and he will be remembered as a bible scholar.  He was an avid sportsman following all types of sports and a fan of NASCAR.

Richie was preceded in death by his parents, William A. & Mona Burfield Driver, brothers David & Ronnie Driver.  Survivors include his wife of 50 yrs.

Shirley McGee Driver, sister Marjorie Hall, brother-in-law Mary & Malcolm Graves & Nathan & Bonnie McGee, also survived by Nieces & nephews and his church family.
