After graduation went to Montana State University, played professional baseball with Pittsburgh Pirates organization, graduated from MSU in 1968. Taught at Armijo High School, Fairfield, CA, 1969. Drafted into U.S. Army 1970. Returned to Armijo in 1972. Married in 1972. Retired from Fairfield School District in 1998. Opened part time construction business and still in operation out of Vacaville, CA.
