On Saturday, May 9, 2015, Marvel McClellan was called from Earth to Paradise...He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Georgia (Jodi), sons Justin, Marvel, Jeffrey, Tyree, George (Alexia), De Shuan all of Wichita, Kansas, Chance of Oklahoma City, Olian, Lamont (Veronica) of Texas, daughters Marlinda, Michelle, Carlatta (Jay) of Wichita, Kansas, Alicia of Atlanta, Georgia, Sebrena (Vernon) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Cherish of Topeka, Kansas,BROTHERS James “Ronnie” (Rochelle), Michael (Millie) of Wichita, Kansas, Ramiah Joe (Betty) of Panama City, Florida, and Goree of Las Vegas, Nevada, sisters Linda (Orville), Teresa Kay (CalDee) and Terry all of Wichita, Kansas, Special sister Remona Hopkins,fifty grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

I have good memories of Marvel. He was a funny and charming guy and he was a wonderful athlete. And he was always nice to my folks.

Gerald Bradfield

Marvel was a super guy and a very funny person.  I remember as sophomores, I always had to wrestle him in gym class.  I never could figure out how he could be such a good place kicker in football and walk so pigeon toed.  He will me missed.  RIP!
